Who We Are

The Medical Society of Sedgwick County is a membership organization representing the physicians of Sedgwick County on issues related to the private practice of medicine. Founded in 1903, MSSC has more than 1,000 practicing physicians as members. Counting retired members, residents and medical students, the total is about 2,300.

Medical Society of Sedgwick County is a nonprofit membership organization representing the physicians of Wichita-Sedgwick County. Founded in 1903, MSSC has a strong legacy of promoting the highest standards in ethical medical practices, medical education, research and community health. MSSC and its members are engaged in programs and initiatives affecting the health of people in Sedgwick County and Kansas.
