HealthICT, an affiliate program of the Medical Society of Sedgwick County, received a $150,000 grant from The Physician Foundation to enhance patient outcomes by optimizing electronic health records for identifying, tracking and managing drivers of health. The initiative will emphasize the integration of closed-loop referral systems, the improvement of community resource databases, and the training of physicians and community-based organizations to foster a collaborative care approach.
MSSC is a membership organization that advocates for the physicians of Sedgwick County on matters concerning private medical practice and patient care. Established in 1903, MSSC has more than 1,000 physician members, representing more than 90 percent of practicing physicians in the county.
